PREFECT DUTIES

Prefects are in charge of the following duties:

Prepare for assembly and help to line up the Pre-school pupils.
Collect blunt pencils before each break and leave them in the kitchen to be sharpened.
Return sharpened pencils to the classrooms after each break.
Tidy all book piles before each break.
With teacher’s permission, clean boards before each break and at the end of each school day.
Collect lost property that might be lying around and place in The Lost Property Box every day.

Prefects must be ready for any additional duties required.
If prefects are absent it is their responsibility to advise an alternate prefect to take over their responsibilities during their absence. The office should be informed about this immediately.

TOYS

Parents send toys to school at their own risk. If private toys are lost or broken at school it is not the responsibility of the school to investigate the loss, or to recover or replace the toys.
No toy guns may be brought to school at any time.

PUPIL CODE

Pupils must show decorum at all times. Bad language and rudeness will not be tolerated. All members of the International School are expected to be positive and helpful members of their school and the wider community - whether in school or not. The pupil code at the International School is based on discretion. Further details regarding the pupil code are available from the principal's office.
