ACADEMIC CODE

Failure to do nightly homework will result in a parent and teacher conference. If the work is not made up in accordance with set deadlines, discipline may result in an automatic detention.

ACADEMIC DETENTION: Failure to hand in homework, late completion or consistently poor results, that are as a result of a lack of study, may lead to an Academic Detention. This detention will consist of half an hour of silent work period during the lunch break after the child has had lunch. The staff member giving the detention will set the work to be done. Pupils will be expected to make up overdue homework in their own time in conjunction with their regular homework. Pupils will be told of detention in advance and will be required to take home a detention slip and have it signed by the parent or guardian.
