At
certain times of the year the pupils of Escola Internacional da
Madeira are given the opportunity of participating in charitable
programmes within the community. We are non-denominational, however,
Portugal is a Catholic country and therefore many public holidays
are also Church holidays. The reasons for those holidays are always
explained to the children.
There is a co-operative and considerate
family environment where individual needs are understood and met.
The opinions of parents are encouraged and given serious consideration.
Our aim is always in the best interests of the children and therefore
we promote a belief that the positive aspects of life arise from
good relationships, unselfishness, thoughtfulness and good manners.
Families
interested in attending Escola Internacional da Madeira must first
complete and submit the Application
for Admission form. Upon review, the principal of the school
will contact you to arrange for further information.
The Prospectus
includes information regarding tuition, academic requirements, the
grading system, appearance and dress code, pupil conduct and general
information about our daily life.
For
further information, please contact Escola Internacional da Madeira
